Common Field Issues
Things break. Here is how to fix the most common headaches without calling support.
”The Scanner Won’t Scan”
Section titled “”The Scanner Won’t Scan””Usually, this is a glare issue.
- Sunlight: If the sun is hitting the badge directly, the camera can’t see the code. Shade it with your hand.
- Dirt: Wipe the camera lens with your shirt. Seriously, 90% of the time, it’s just a smudge.
”No Internet in the Back Field”
Section titled “”No Internet in the Back Field””No problem. AgriLink works Offline.
- Keep scanning as normal.
- The app saves the data on your phone.
- When you get back to the barn (or Wi-Fi), the app will automatically upload everything.
- Don’t close the app until you see the “Synced” checkmark.
”I scanned a worker twice by accident”
Section titled “”I scanned a worker twice by accident””It happens.
- Go to the Activity Log tab.
- Find the duplicate scan.
- Swipe left (or click) Delete.
