Managing Your Fields

Farming isn’t stationary. Whether you’re moving from the “Back 40” to “Block 7” or just switching crops, keeping your data organized is key.

Creating Locations

Before you send a crew out, make sure the location exists in AgriLink.

1. Go to Settings > Locations.
2. Click Add Location.
3. Name it something your workers recognize (e.g., “North Hill”, “Greenhouse 1”).
4. (Optional) Drop a pin on the map. This helps with the weather tracking features.

Switching Fields Mid-Day

When a crew finishes one block and moves to another:

1. Tap Switch Location on the Scanner.
2. Select the new field from the dropdown.
3. All subsequent scans will be tagged with this new location.

Why does this matter? When you look at your yield reports later, you’ll know exactly which fields were most productive. No more guessing games.
